Does anyone have any recommendations of pediatricians in the Sunnyvale/Santa

Clara/ Mountain View area? Familiarity with Celiac is not hugely important as I

doubt we'll be in the area longer than a year or two but it can't hurt. My due

date is July 21st and the hospital/ my OB is getting anxious to have a name to

put down on her chart-to-be. Ugh.

, I'd recommend giving Dr. Elliot Lepler a try. He's a fantastic doctor

and just a good guy all around. He's in Mountain View at the Palo Alto Med

Foundation. He's fairly versed in celiac, and always seems to be willing to do

the work if he isn't as knowledgeable in things as he should be. At times, he

thinks out of the box, which I very much respect.

Dr. Barnett is wonderful, also. She's in Santa Clara. She's fantastic. I

think being a quite young doctor gives her a different perspective than a lot of

the other docs I've dealt with. Her speciality is teens, but she is wonderful

with wee munchkins as well! I'm not sure if she is accepting new patients,

though, which is why I put Dr Lepler first on my list.

Either way, I think you'd be very happy with either of these docs!

Hope I helped,

Carla

Thanks for the suggestions, Carla! Very helpful. :) I like the idea of any

doctor that will think out of the box- or a young, motivated female doctor.
