Guest guest
Oh, my! I never, ever would have thought to look for that. I think I read (here?) that a product buyer for Peet's has celiac disease but said she didn't expect Peet's to carry GF items. Does anyone else remember that, within the last six months? H. Guest guest
When we visited England in the Summer, we found gluten free sandwiches at Starbucks. They were also quite good. From: Joe <joelewisgmail (DOT) com>Subject: [ ] Foolish advice for Starbucks Date: Tuesday, January 27, 2009, 2:40 PM The Motley Fool had an interesting post today on how Starbucks might maintain their business in a bad economy:http://www.fool. com/investing/ general/2009/ 01/27/a-smart- strategy- for-starbucks. aspxIn which they state that: Retailers and restaurateurs tend toward one of two choices when recession strikes:1. Lower prices to maintain traffic and move product.2. Become different enough to warrant a fair price premium. And they then go on to argue that gluten-free food offerings would be a feather in the cap of option #2. I tend to agree - given the amount of time I spend sitting in Starbucks soaking up the Wi Fi to get work done, having a bit of knish on the side would be most welcome indeed... ;-)The original post from Starbucks' blog is here, where you can *let them know what you think*:http://blogs. starbucks. com/blogs/ customer/ archive/2009/ 01/08/happy- new-year- from-the- food-team. aspxJust please make a palatable raisin scone and maybe a cinnamon roll and I will just move in.-- Joe http://sanbeiji. com/
Guest guest
I don't remember that, but I do remember reading here or maybe directly on the Mariposa website that Peet's coffee stands inside Raley's stores are carrying individual packs of their biscotti cookie. The Raley's closest to me doesn't carry them. Has anyone seen them in their stores? Keri in Antioch > > Oh, my!
