Guest guest
on twitter today i was sad to see the confusion between wheatfree and gluten free. someone recommended fig bars from the famous brand Barbara's Bakery as being better than their gluten free original. being an old fig newton fan from age eight or so, i checked it out. sadly, right on their website: http://bit.ly/oU0BF it states the bars have barley flour and are listed in their wheat free category, not their gluten free category. so even when the manufacturer does everything right there is still the chance of contamination by lack of understanding. being a full celiac, that would be very dangerous for me, but even others with intolerance or sensitivity to have this clarified to them by a physician, i think. of course, that is all too rare....mostly, i guess, it is the patient enlghtening the doctor about all this....sigh.... -- +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ just posted for the 4th: THE FIESTA CASSEROLE http://www.wheatlessandmeatless.com/ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
