I went to the annual Food Show for restaurants in Denver yesterday. They had every conceivable type of food available for every kind of restaurant imaginable, all packaged, all loaded with chemicals, including MSG. I stupidly ate some of the samples and within an hour I had that inquenchable thirst, a headache, and an aura that comes from eating MSG and other preservatives. Now I know why I never eat out. Every item that is served in restaurants has chemicals in it. Exept for a really high-end restaurant, the ones that charge $100 a person to eat, ALL restaurants serve packaged food. YUK!. Guest guest
I especially notice it after I've eaten a pizza; that desperate thirst that comes about. And it's almost like drinking water doesn't quench it either, which is worrying. Not that I have anything against pizza myself. I still order and eat it occasionally

I still order and eat it occasionally You're getting the double whammy, loads of MGS and all those nitrites and nitrates. I saw one booth where they were serving salsa and guacamole -- all pre-packed into plastic bags. It sure looked like fresh made, but it wasn't and the guy manning the booth was pitching this stuff to some Mexican chefs, telling them they'd never have to make either of these things again because here it was, just open the plastic bag and serve it. So any time you're eating in a Mexican restaurant, not even the salsa and guac are fresh anymore. Except for the high-end stuff such as truffle paste, organic beef and lamb, and small boutique food purveyors, the rest of the stuff is made by big corporations and it's loaded with everything we should never eat. It really looked like I had two black eyes yesterday, today they're better, but man oh man, that must have been one toxic load I put on my kidneys for that to happen. Guest guest
The idea that MSG is the root cause of obesity is bullshit. Guest guest
October 3, 2007) New research shows that getting plenty of MSG shortens life and harms health. MSG use plays a role in causing many varieties of cancer, as well as heart disease, stroke, hypertension, autoimmune diseases, diabetes, depression, chronic pain, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, muscle weakness, muscle wasting, birth defects, and periodontal disease. (1) This does not mean that MSG use is the only cause of these diseases. What it does mean is that MSG, and the many ways in which it affects a person's health, must no longer be ignored. It really looked like I had two black eyes yesterday, today they're better, but man oh man, that must have been one toxic load I put on my kidneys for that to happen.
