Guest guest
If you want really fine dining there is the Fresh Cream Restaurant. I had a fabulous meal there last week, no gf menu but they work with you. I enjoy Esteban's in Casa Munras. It is a tapas restaurant and they surprised me by bringing me a basket of gf bread. Call ahead and let them know that you are coming so they can be prepared to have this for you. They are dinner only now and have a nice patio with fireplace and heaters. The Del Monte Shopping Center has P.F. Changs along with Whole Foods if you need essentials. I learned that Croce's Pizza in Downtown starting today will have G.F, pizza regularly. They prepare it in a separate kitchen etc. I have not tried it but they are open til 4 a.m. and will deliver. Central Avenue Bakery is closed unfortunately so don't try to look for it. I have eaten at a lot of the fine restaurants in Monterey and they are so accomodating and my experiences have been pleasurable. Have a fabulous time. I'm finally taking a Christmas gift trip to Monterey. The hotel has a refrigerator, so we're taking breakfast and lunch foods, but I like to eat out at dinner. Does anyone know any celiac-friendly places in Monterey, especially around the Aquarium??Thanks,--Ruth Anne
