I have not heard from Arlene's husband yet. She gave him my number and email address so he could contact me after Dr. Boachie called him. I told her I would be up until 11 PM.

Arlene had to be at the hospital by 6 AM. Her wishes were that her husband would go back home and go to work after she was taken into surgery. She does not want him to come back until the intubation tubes are removed.

The plan was for A/P surgery today. But if she lost a lot of blood or the surgery was going to take over 6 hours, then Dr. Boachie was just going to do the anterior portion today and schedule the posterior work for another day. He wasn't really sure what he was going to have to do until he got in there.

I am hoping that as soon as I send this email Arlene's husband will call.
