Guest guest
Evergreen will work with you, they are in Tahoe City. Tacos Jalsco has a taco stand set up Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, only corn tortillas touch the outdoor grill, they are in Kings Beach. A new Thai restaurant is scheduled to open any day in Tahoe City and Thai is extremely easy to eat out as they do not grow wheat in Thailand and there is no soy sauce used in most dishes. On Aug 11, 2009, at 2:43 PM, cunninghamlynn68 wrote:Anyone have any suggestions for eateries with g-f options in the North Lake Tahoe area? I disagree. The three Thai restaurants nearest my house all use soy sauce ubiquitously in their sauces, so I can not eat there. Plenty of soy sauce is made in Thailand, including the brand I use. The manufacturer has 4 types; 2 types have what and two do not. (I have not been able to get the restaurants to tell me which type of soy sauce they use.) Also, oyster sauce is used frequently in Thai dishes; some has wheat in it and some does not. --Ruth Anne
