Guest guest
Hi Zoey, I had an upper GI series, and ultrasound and cat scan. My doc decided to do them because I was getting nauseated often and having projectile vomiting on occasion. Very difficult circumstances in which to work, let alone drive home. It seemed to be triggered by sinus drainage for the most part so I think the real problem was gluten and soy, both of which I'm allergic to. The gall stone was small enough he decided to ignore it, and for my pancreas, he suggested adding digestive enzymes. Anyway, I haven't been sick since I started watching what I eat. Guest guest
Elaine, You mentioned below that you had a series of GI tests. Do you remember which tests you had and why you had them? Thanks, Zoey Re: BB POSTING!!! >Kate, >Essential fatty acids include omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9 oils, and they're >essential to good health. Also, they're not related to saturated fats. Guest guest
Drink as MUCH water as you can afterwards, to get all the barium at off your system... I too have had this test some time ago but when I did the H2O thing in excess I felt a lot better then I would have if I hadnt forced myself to drink the water.. Try and not eat alot afterwards and take clear fluids for a day or so.. This helped me.. Good luck* Robin

Guest guest
<< Drink as MUCH water as you can afterwards, to get all the barium at off your system.. >> ---------- In addition to that I suggest anything that cleans the colon. I used water, Homozon and colemas after mine. It worked. Christel
Guest guest
I can vouch for that. My mom just had a colonoscopy about 2 wks. ago, and her major complaint after was the gas. H. Re: GI tests ...I had horrible gas after and those medical people did nothing to warn me about the gas, and it is terrible painful.... Guest guest
Hello lenny@..., In reference to your comment: è radiation from concentrating in the thyroid, where it è usually settles. I didnt think that this was radiation?
Guest guest
Did Lenny post a reply to my GI tests post? It didn't get through to me. >Hi Lenny, > >> Fasting with 10 section lemons may help you rid a nest of roundworms, as >the 10 section lemon juice >> is a prerequisite for me to ever have any success in removing these strong >little critters. >> > >What is a " 10 section " lemon? > >God bless you, >KJ > -- * Health * Peace * Love * 4ever @..@ (----) ( >__< ) Ribbit
Guest guest
Hi , I don't post often here, as I don't think my DD has a PID, though I am watching ever so closely (with Valarie's help!). :-) She was revaccinated because of her lack of response to the prevnar vac. Hopefully, a year later she still has the antibodies, but we haven't tested for a long while. Anyway, I don't know of any other non invasive tests. My DS who is 11, has an ultrasound, bloodwork, etc, that showed nothing. After his complete scope in Oct (endocsopy and colonoscopy) he was found to have eosinphilic esophagitis (EE) and eosinophilic colitis (EC). (eosinophils in his esophagus and colon) Symptoms can vary greatly as do treatments. Elimination diet helped to clear him (found via another complete scope 3 weeks ago) and we are now trialing milk, which I think he is failing .... I am not at all surprised, but I let him choose what he wanted to trial first. He chose dairy becasue he wanted cheese on his wheat free pizza really badly! Don't know if this helps or not. Good luck to you! Meg
