Guest guest
For us, ZPizza is 3 strikes, and they are out! First visit: they said they had GF crusts, but they didn't have an ingredient list, so we weren't able to check for other allergens. No pizza. Second visit: they said they the crusts, they took our money, 15 minutes later: " Ooops, no crusts! " Well, we got our money back, but it caused major problems for us because we were on a tight schedule, and had to scramble for our dinner. Thank heavens Amici's down the block is well stocked and fast! Third visit: they had the crusts in stock, finally. But the total cost for lunch for 2 was $29, barely less than Amici's. That's one small GF pizza and 1 soda per person. It took them over 35 minutes to make our pizzas, and we went in the middle of the day, when the place was empty. The pizzas themselves were quite disappointing. They were wet top and bottom, like bread that has been microwaved. The toppings were really skimpy, and not that good. I hate pizza with " cheese bald spots " - bare patches of toppingless crust. Worst of all, both of the celiacs who ate there felt sick for the next 36 hours. Not a full-blown gluten reaction, but constant belly pain and definitely misery. We won't go back.
