All the greens are different. There are DIFFERENT qualities in all of them - and they respond differently in the body. Some of them are not a COMPLETE protein. ONLY spirulina is being used for the AIDS and immune problem people - for its UNIQUE effects.

Also - you must be careful WHERE and HOW your spirulina is GROWN. What the conditions are ... there are many variables.

The more you learn - the more there is TO learn.

I usually pay around $4.50-$7.50 per an order (usually 1 lb of a green powder). I used to buy powders in a regular health food store, but recently I started ordering through the internet because their prices are sometimes lower. If you like Spirulina powder, you may also like Chlorella powder just make sure it has a cracked cell wall for superior digestability. It should say on the cover of the product. Chlorella contains enormous amounts of readily available chlorophyll. It also contains protein, carbohydrates, all the B vitamins, vitamin C and E, amino acids, and rare trace minerals. we searched and researched every kind of spirulina... and found that www.earthrise.com was the best (sorry if i offend anyone

the more you buy there... the cheaper it gets... if they do not have the gallon guantities listed on the screen - just email them or write them and they will send you all the prices... we bought 3 gallons for $299 (that's a SUPER amount of it!)
