Guest guest
Marciana, I am so sorry to hear about the problems you had eating at ZPizza in Mt. View! My girlfriend and I eat there at least once a week. We work in Palo Alto and order the pizzas before we leave for lunch. By the time we get there, the pizzas are done. It does take a while to bake the g-f pizzas, unfortunately, but we manage to avoid the wait by pre-ordering. We both think the pizzas are delicious. Our pizza comes out with a crispy crust. One time I did order a g-f pizza to go and left to pick it up. Upon arrival, they told me they ran out of the g-f crust, so no lunch for me (only a celiac knows how awful it feels to not have anything to eat). They did try calling me, but I had already left to pick up the pizza. I was a little upset to say the least and I couldn't help it - tears starting falling. I was so looking forward to pizza! , the owner, gave a me a card for a free g-f pizza next time I ate there - which I used as soon as the g-f pizza crusts came in. The manufacturer of the g-f crusts cannot keep up with the demand, but ZPizza in Mt. View just received 2 boxes of the g-f crusts last week. However, I have learned now when I call to order to have them check that g-f pizzas are in stock - so that eliminates that problem. As far as the cost, pizza with a soft drink is about $12 there, which is not a bad price for me for lunch. I wonder why the $29 for 2? That does seem high! We have never felt sick after eating there, but again, so sorry for what you went through! Isn't it funny how people can experience different things when dining out?
