Esteban in Monterey - Negative review

Esteban in Monterey is a disappointment. Sure, we need more G-friendly restaurants, but we went there Monday and will not go back again.Why? We had three dishes:1. Paella for 2 - $24 - We ordered it ahead of time (it takes 30 minutes to prepare), so it was ready shortly after we arrived. It had a reasonable amount of mussels and clams, but only 4 (four) prawns, a little chorizo, and very little Spanish rice, and watery at that, not like traditional paella. The flavor, though, was good.2. Fresh anchovy with a lemon-parsley "persiade." - $7 - Four tiny anchovies and a teaspoon of a little mixture of ??? Definitely a total waste of money.3. Delta asparagus with garlic aioli and lemon relish - $7 - Half a dozen large grilled asparagus
