Guest guest
Hi all, I tried to search this out, but I'm not seeing it addressed, so I'll post and hope it's not repetitious. I'm in the midst of my first Schulze Bowel Detox program, and found, oddly enough, that my normal bowel habits were actually slowed down by starting the Formula 1. I would normally have a stool every morning on rising, and another later that morning, and, when things were really healthy, a third later in the day. But I also am pretty sure I've got Giardia lingering in my gut, and really wanted to do a thorough cleaning. So, upon starting the #1 at one a day, then 2, then 3, I would miss my morning wake up stool altogether (no urge, nothing " there " ). Once I got to 3-4 per day, I'd still miss the usual wake up stool, but now had an herb-induced spastic, somewhat loose stool about 9-10 am. It seems, after a week on the #1 and just starting the #2 yesterday, that this time of day is when the #1 takes effect, and not really any time else! I've had a couple of stools a day with this, and am starting to feel pretty full with all the clay etc, in #2, so I'll increase the #1 tonight, but here's my concern: I don't just want to have an herbal-induced loose BM once a day, and a sort of scanty BM later. There's a lot of #2 to get out of there now! And my fear is that, if I follow the standard protocol of adding more #1, that I'll just get an even more spasm-y blow out stool at 9-10 am and no other effect through the day from the herbs in #1. So, what about taking the #1 another time in the day, say at lunch? Any reason not to? Anyone with a similar experience try this with success? Thanks for any insights you might have. Guest guest
Will, I have done many of Schulze's bowel cleanses and came to the same conclusion. They didn't work. I love his other parts to the program and the book There Are No Incurable Diseases. I had an old can of homozon and decided to re-open it. It had been two years since using it. Wham! I mean it WORKED. Work your way up to 1 tablespoon in the morning followed by 1/2 squeezed lemon or lime juice. Does anyone know where I can get a less expensive source for this?
