Hi All

I just spoke to GIG. She confirmed that just because a product is labeled as

" wheat-free " that does not mean that it is necessarily " gluten-free " so

therefore the product could contain barley or rye, etc.

cheers

Nope - caramel color in north america is made from corn & is therefore gf.

I've been reading about things like this for 6 yrs and not once have I seen

anyone write " THIS product or THIS source has a caramel color w/ gluten " .

Obviously, caramel color CAN be made from barley, wheat or rye, but every

definitive source I've seen has clearly stated that in north america it is not.

Hi there

Could you please refer me to a good, definitive research article? I'd want to

keep it handy to share with others.

thanks
