Guest guest
I have to apologize, as I stupidly didn't take any pictures at GF Joes in Tumwater, WA,, WA, but look at this picture on one of its web pages. There are three full rows packed like that with GF products, though a few of the product contais the debatable oats. But, I have to say that it is a very worthwhile place for CS and wheat-intolerant folks to visit. We went there last week while visiting our family in Tacoma. We shipped back a box of items that we haven't seen locally, though they may be available at some places, and we just haven't noticed them. Anyway, GF Joes prices were quite good, lower than Whole Foods, though I don't have any particulars at the moment. Good things included several new SanJ sauces (particularly a Szechuan one), two Nature's Path GF cereals we had not seen before (Corn Flakes and Whole O's), and Eragrain's GF bread. As I noted before, Joe, in person this time, was a pleasure to talk with, and though he started his store only last year, he feels that sales and growth look good. As I mentioned before, I wondered why can't the Bay Area, with its several millions, support such a store. I would think one in San Mateo County (between the Bay Area's two biggest population centers) would attract people from all over the SF Bay Area.
