Wow that is great. I hope that it makes it way to the Safeway in SF.I was just complaining to the manager at Safeway that they had taken all theGF frozen products (pizza shells, donuts, bread) off the shelf. Maybe they are going to replace it with that new brand. Thanks for the heads up.From: mecreaves <mecreaves@...> Sent: Tuesday, October 13, 2009 12:04:35 PMSubject: [ ] New at Safeway!

Hi all,

I wanted to tell you all that I found an entire rack of GF products at Safeway in Moraga. I was in the baked goods section and I happened to see this rack with GLUTEN FREE written quite large on it. The brand is French Meadow Bakery and they had quite an assortment of items.

Pre-decorated cupcakes and cakes - both yellow and chocolate

White bread - looked pretty soft

Muffins - blueberry

Chocolate chip cookies

Pre-decorated mini-cakes - yellow and chocolate.

I hope we all support Safeway's endeavor to support our diet. It was quite nice to be able to pick up a 4-pack of cupcakes already decorated when a last minute birthday party invite came our way.

Hope you all are doing well.

if any south-bayers see these new products, please post your findings.

I'm on house arrest (38 weeks pregnant and can't walk due to leg pain)

and am sending DH out shopping these days. I love the French Meadow

pizza crust they use at Willow Street Pizza - I'd love to try some of

their other products.
