Guest guest
I follow Edie's prescription for enemas and colonics as needed, and two sigmoidoscopies and a colonoscopy found no ropey material in me. I would also like Edie to produce a followup to her CD, oriented to family care, which is how many of us got started with enemas but is a lost art now. ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Looking for last minute shopping deals? Are people on this list reading impaired or something? Both colonoscopy and sigmoidoscopy ONLY CHECK THE COLON. The ropy material comes from the SMALL INTESTINE. For the logic impaired, this means that neither a colonoscopy or a sigmoidoscopy WILL EVER SEE THE PLAQUE (or 'the ropy material')... 'Gay bashing?' Yes! Typical hetero-phobic ploy - insert words that were not used to change the meaning of a comment so that you can falesly claim 'gay-bashing. Meaning - those were NOT MY WORDS, they were YOURS. MY words were: " it is not 'gay bashing' or 'homophobia' to point out the reality that AIDS is far more prevalent in the gay community than it is elsewhere... " Are you suggesting that incidence of AIDS is NOT more prevalent in the gay community?
Guest guest
I agree, Edie's first publication is a classic, and I loved her emphasis on being gentle and safe, taking enemas in a quiet comfortable place, and giving the body time to adjust. She has brought the enema to a state of peace and joy, not a traumatic experience to be feared. I, too, am a 'bottom up' cleanser, not wishing to take any chemicals orally, even so-called 'natural' ones. Thanks to Edie's book, though, I can now relax in the process of taking enemas, viewing it now as rejuvenating 'quiet time' to nourish my health. Guest guest
Thanks Pamela, Although it's probably been posted, what is the name of Edie's book and where can I get a copy? Guest guest
, sorry I'm late in responding. I found it in two places. First, I searched 'colon cleansing' at amazon.com searching 'books' and it came up. Remember that the title is " Basic In-Home Colon Cleansing: An Illustrated Guide " . Second, they have a web site at: www.newhealthresources.com . If you surf around their web site you'll also find an order page and that has a link to a digital edition, downloadable, at Diesel E-Books. I'm hearing that they are also working on two DVDs. The 'high enema' and use of a 'colon tube.'
