IGG/IGA Normalization

My GI doctor expects my IGG/IGA levels to be at zero now that I've been

gluten-free for four months now (they are currently both " equivocal, " which is

basically the gray area between positive and negative). I've heard others say

this normalization process can take up to a year. Just curious to hear what

other people's doctors have told them?

My gastroenterologist said those numbers are highly variable and change even

within the day. I was in the gray area too, after almost 7 years gluten free,

but she said not to worry.

Which makes me curious: how many of you out there have completely normal

IGG/IGA levels after being gluten free for a period of time?

P.S. I just got my blood checked again an am curious to see the results.

It took a year of a very strict diet for our daughter to reach a

level of 7. At 6 months she was at 28. Her original number was > 100, so

possibly the amount of time it takes will depend upon how elevated the

antibodies were to begin with.

My son was "normal (negative" after 4 months, and every time since then.

Which makes me curious: how many of you out there have completely normal IGG/IGA levels after being gluten free for a period of time?.
