Guest guest
As all the media is telling us, the holidays are right around the corner, and holidays in my household call for baking. I like to use some of the " exotic " flours in my baking. However, to get a decent price on them, I have to buy in bulk (4-8 pounds), and I usually don't need all of it and then I have to find room in my very small freezer for most of it. Is there a GF flour collective in SF or in the Bay Area? If not, would any of you join one if I started one? Thanks, --Ruth Anne

Guest guest
Ruth Anne, Our bakery buys the ingredients we use for gluten-free baking in bulk, we've been thinking about offering our GF flour mix as a separate product, priced at $5 for a 20 oz. container. The mix contains rice flour, sorghum flour, tapioca flour, and xanthan gum. The flour mix is available for local pickup in Milpitas, we're still working on finding a container that's suitable for shipping.
