Guest guest
I can comment on the quality and taste as I have had GF pizza from ZPizza (Fremont) MANY times. Most important - I have never been 'glutened'. They are very careful to avoid cross- contamination. The ingredients are fresh and the quality is excellent. It has never been overdone or underdone and there are the right amount of toppings. The only down-side is that they only offer personal size pizzas (so no family-size). I have even bought 2 pizzas and put one in the freezer. After defrosting - they can be re-heated on the center rack in a hot oven.No negatives from me. cindyFrom: Mission Fremont <mission.fremont@...> Sent: Thu, October 29, 2009 8:35:11 AMSubject: [ ] Gluten free and Vegan choices at ZPizza Fremont Hello,My name is Laddie and I'm new to this group. I'm also the owner of "ZPizza" Fremont. As a mom myself and new in the business world, I'm looking into opportunities to educate and help other moms make healthy and better choices; especially when it comes to what we put in our kids tummies. That's the reason I bought the ZPizza Franchise. ZPizza offers "Organic" pizza made with healthy, natural and organic ingredients. All our creations are also available on "Gluten Free" crust. I'm also open to any Fundraising ideas that you may have.Thank you for your support.Laddie Sidhuwww.zpizza.comZPizza 46703 Mission Blvd,Fremont, CA, 94539 Tel. no. 510-360-9900
Guest guest
Hello! I would be very interested in your pizza but I wonder how it can be GLUTEN free if it is made with Organic Wheat Dough. I would like to know how you can keep them seperate when someone orders a GF pizza and it is made in the same row as all the other pizzas or is it made some special way? And plus if the person is making pizzas do they wash their hands thoroughly in between the types of pizzas? I am also curious if you plan on making a frozen pizza for stores? I would pay double to EAT pizza and have not jumped to ordering pizza dough GF through places I know that sell them. I am not trying to bash you in any way. I am really new to Celiacs and am still questioning my own sanity at times. lol I am having a lot of resistance in buying that things are GF when I have had several glutenings by eating GF but somehow being exposed or having a trigger. Thank you and I hope one day soon a ZPIZZA opens in Santa Cruz California. Thank you =) gem --- In , Mission Fremont <mission.fremont@...> wrote: > > Hello, > > My name is Laddie and I'm new to this group. > > I'm also the owner of " ZPizza " Fremont. > As a mom myself and new in the business world, I'm looking into > opportunities to educate and help other moms make healthy and better > choices; especially when it comes to what we put in our kids tummies. Guest guest
Hello everyoneThank you for giving me the opportunity to address some of your concern(s).We at ZPizza have a separate process for preparing Gluten Free pizzas. This process includes: 1. All gluten free pizzas are made in the back, away from the regular/whole wheat dough pizzas. 2. All utensils for the preparation for the GF are kept separate from the other utensils.3. Most importantly, all the cooks preparing the GF pizzas, are required to wash their hands thoroughly before touching the GF utensils and ingredients. Now to answer your last question: We are a Franchise; any plans to market GF pizzas to stores would come from our corporate office. At this time, I'm sorry to say that we are not aware of any such plans; but I will definitely pass along your request to our head office. This may be blowing our own horn, but ZPizza was voted # 6 on Parents Magazine's " 10 Best Fast Casual Food Restaurants 2009 " list. We also won the 2008 Pizza Industry Enterprise (PIE) Winner. If you are ever in Fremont area during lunch time, please do introduce yourself to me. I invite all of you to come and try our creations and I promise you that you will not be disappointed. A special thanks to Gem and ! Hope to see you guys sometime soon.Regards,LaddieZPizza46703 Mission Blvd,Fremont, CA, 94539Tel. no. 510-360-9900 On Fri, Oct 30, 2009 at 4:20 PM, gemmal <gemmalocat> wrote: Hello! Guest guest
Thank you Laddie, I really appreciate your honesty and your open-ness to discuss the options. I had to appreciate your candid response. I am not sure I will be in Fremont any time soon as travel is still difficult on my system. I was DX'd in August but only 3 days ago found that I had a WHEAT based shampoo and conditioner. So please stay in business and I will come as soon as I feel better. =) I do hope SOMEONE makes a GF pizza to buy in stores. I am so weak still, because of this non eating situation. Again thank you! gem > > > > > > Hello, > > > > > > My name is Laddie and I'm new to this group. > > > > > > I'm also the owner of " ZPizza " Fremont. > > > As a mom myself and new in the business world, I'm looking into > > > opportunities to educate and help other moms make healthy and better > > > choices; especially when it comes to what we put in our kids tummies. > > That's > > > the reason I bought the ZPizza Franchise.
