Guest guest
He still has a temp, can get high some times, but better slowly! Makes you so nervous, like because of the whole implanted thing, the question that lurkes is: Is this normal, or something because of the implants??? Will he get better, or is this a sign of something brewing? Sick, I know, isnt it? My hubby keeps saying, "A kid has gotta get sick sometime!" Just keep praying, will you? Seems like Illinois had got something icky going around, his pediatritian has seen over 80 kids in the last 2 days! (normally about 30) Glad I kept him home! ---- Original Message ----- From: Pam Sent: Monday, December 22, 2003 4:09 PM Subject: Re: Pam Thanks ! Guest guest
, you're right, you and I sound a lot alike. My daughter keeps telling me the same thing - Why be miserable with someone you don't want to be with when your soul mate could be out there waiting for you! She's wise beyond her years. She asks me every day whether he and I have talked about it. I guess I keep putting off the inevitable. I truly need to do something...soon. Guest guest
Did you find anything about the state where you live or a Dr in the area? hopefully this will help you out. remember though for every Dr that treats with narcotics there are ones who are against it, the point is to show them that some people can have dramatic improvement with them, and that for some it really works, maybe not everyone, but if your one that it does work on, then that is what matters. Good luck girl, keep me posted on what you find out Hugs In , " Pam " <nannapam37@y...> wrote: > Thanks ! Wow, that was a ton of info. Guest guest
, I found some docs here but I don't know who to try first. Unfortunately there is no way to know who is really good and who is a jerk without going. My current pain doc is listed there and he won't help me! - see what I mean! I think that this is the worst part of this illness - not only do we suffer from the pain, fatigue and brain fog, but we have to deal with doctors not believing us and not wanting to help us. Thanks again for the links, I might just start calling them 1 by 1! Guest guest
You will all be on the same flight it sounds like because they probably only have 4 flights a day to sun valley/hailey airport, it is a tiny airport. Patty and I will have a bit of time to kill before you guys get there, from my estimation, unless someone is needing to fly into somewhere else. Guest guest
beth, YOU GO GIRL! ---Thank you for sharing your story. People like me who are just starting out to try something to cure ourselves and loved ones need to hear the stories. Pam, do you not beleive that every one that reads the Dr. info is intelligent enough to make up their own mind whether this is a hoax or not? What is it that makes you desire to dash the hopes of those of us who wish to hope? JD

Guest guest
it has been cold for here..... (not to make everyone else want to smack me) but it has been in the 30's at night and 50's in the day which is very rare here. I feel so sorry for everyone hit so hard by these nasty winter storms... Of course living through 3 hurricanes in a month wasn't a picnic either. love shari

I do check that one pretty often. I don't want to miss the show! How's the weather down there? It's in the teens around here - unheard of in Virginia! This is the 2nd day the kids have been out of school in a row. I'm going stir crazy! I didn't go to work so I could watch the kids...bad choice! Guest guest
Pam I apologize if I offended you in any way. My deepest apologize. I did come across too strong but my question was that if one poses a question to a group then except what they offer and draw ones own conclusions. I very happy for you that your child have a doctor who understands the cause of autism and not just treating it as a symptom. It frustrates me to see my friends kids being put on Actos and Cerebryx which have a black box warning by the FDA and believe soo strongly that its helping their child that they want others to follow it. I have seen young kids who are having IV chelation done every few weeks, suppositories some parents have invested in HBOTS etc. I could have very easily fallen in that trap but if you really study what is about and what Herpes virus can and will do you will realize the need for the emergency to open our eyes and not be wishy washy about our choices. I am not even a patient of Dr G but do follow his protocol. My son has not made any wows yet but steady progress but as an educated person I know the truth when I see it. Again I am sorry but I want you to see the truth too. If this is what I had to do to make you understand it then I bear the repercussion. rgds Kavita
Guest guest
Hello Pam, Thank you so much as now that BUTTERFINGERS are GF I can move on with my life!!! I LOVE Butterfingers. I dont eat them often but thinking they where not made life less enjoyable. Anyways I have not been GF long. 3 Days? I had cut it out of my diet and even bought some good things for me, like GF supps and so on. However I forgot to check my shamppoo and i t and my conditioner are both wheat based with WHEAT plants on the cover. No wonder my hair was falling out still and my DR thought maybe I was having contact derma something from some sort of stress related depression? Anyways.. I have not been using it 3 days and already feel better, but I have a half a case of Lara bars if you want them. Also I have some information about some places to hold a celiac support group meeting when ever you want too. I am grateful for your support. I have been a very unhappy person for a long time, and now finally see the light! gem=) Gemma ' Locatelli CeliacDSG/ "Be the change you want to see in the world!" -Gandhi
Guest guest
The whole thing does get easier with time -- much easier. I THINK that although the basic Butterfingers is GF, there are some newer variants that are not. This is the case with several old-line candies -- Snickers being a prime example. Always read the label. I haven't checked lately, but not long ago the plain variety of Altoids contained gluten, while some of the new flavors do not. Werners plain hard candies used not to show wheat on their label. Now it does; I wonder if the ingredients changed or if they just began listing wheat that always was there. Guest guest
Hi Harper,The regular Altoids are gluten free -- it's the 'Smalls' and Altoids gum that are not. Altoids is now a Kraft company so ingredients are clearly marked.Hope you're feeling well, SukiOn Sun, Nov 1, 2009 at 8:59 PM, Harper <flatcat9@...> wrote: The whole thing does get easier with time -- much easier.
