Guest guest
I had problems with McCann's oatmeal but have eaten Bob's Red Mill GF oatmeal for two years! I buy it at WFM or a little health food on California Ave. in Palo Alto. Good luck! Then there's the shared equipment in harvest, transport & storage. The greatest factory practices in the world don't make oats gf. I don't eat oats, so don't pay a *lot* of attn but hear that oats like McCann's get called GF because in Ireland they weren't traditionally crop-rotated w/ wheat. So I'd say switch to GF oats and see what happens. I think there are at least 3 or 4 brands - - - anyone?? Guest guest
Some percentage of Celiacs have difficulties with even g-f oats, due to cross-reactivity. I happen to be one of them. I'd recommend staying away from the oats entirely for a while to see if that is the source of your problems!
