The summer has flown by and we hope you've all enjoyed it while it lasted ...

We're planning another Last Saturday Live Music event in just a few days, plus

our bakeshop freezer (which was broken for weeks) is hopefully now working

again, and we have some new retail baked goods that will be available soon in

stores throughout Northern California.

Last Saturday Live Music -- this weekend!

Saturday, August 29

Join us this Last Saturday from 12-2pm for FRONT DOOR.

Front Door is a trio of Oakland-based musicians who rejoice in a range of song

traditions from tin pan alley, to folk melodies to the outskirts of jazz

composition. Focusing on spontaneous interplay and using the rhythmic fabric of

swing, rock, and African and Latin musics, this instrumental band is lyrical and

leaves no stone unturned. Featuring:

> > Cory : saxophone & clarinet

> > Nate Brenner: upright bass

> > Vijay : drums

So come by for some great Live Music and a gluten-free treat! And for

September, we're planning our Anniversary Party to coincide with September's

Last Saturday event. Please stay tuned!

Freezer News ...

We apologize for our bakeshop freezer being out-of-order for the last few weeks.

We have just replaced it and hope that finding frozen goods will be easy again.

Thank you for your patience while we sorted out the troubles with this

troublesome appliance.

New Products in Stores Soon

We have 3 products that will be available soon in local stores: lemon poppyseed

tea loaf, morning glory tea loaf and crostini.

We introduced these items to retailers last week and we hope that many of them

will pick them up for the Fall season. So keep an eye out for these Mariposa

baked goods in a store near you.
