Well Kathy~ I have had 5 biopsies done and all post transplant. I never had

one done pre transplant because my platelets were too low. But the lady who

helped with my biopsy said that people with liver disease before transplant

have a hard tie with biopsies because in most cases the liver is so scarred

and hardened and it is hard to get a sample.

But i know they will do their best to make things comfortable for you!!
