Guest guest
Both spirulina and chlorella are algal food, but they are not the same. Chlorella contains less protein, just a fraction of beta-carotene and twice the amount of chlorophyll than spirulina. Chlorella contains a greater quantity of fatty acids than spirulina. Chlorella is the least cooling, and most tonifying of the micro-algae. Chlorella on the other hand does not contain a blue pigment phycocyanin, a biliprotein which has shown to have a anticancer dimension.
