Sent: Monday, November 23, 2009 7:44 AM Subject: [ ] best ravioli I've tasted thus far We tried the Conte spinach and cheese ravioli this week, and my non-gf family agreed that these are the best ravioli we've had - just as good as non-gf ravioli. The pasta was perfect, and the filling delicious. We haven't tried their pierogis or their stuffed shells yet, but plan to soon. We also really like Mariposa's ravioli, but find the pasta a little too thick at the edges; the cheese filling is too bland for us but the sweet potato filling is great. Guest guest
I like Iamori's ravioli better than Conte's. Conte's dough is still a little thick for me even though the flavor is good. Guest guest
It is frozen but I can't remember where, sorry. Either with the gf stuff or in the regular freezers... They sell the ravioli and pierogis but I didn't see the shells there - probably should ask for them to carry those, too. Guest guest
I have seen Iamori's in Gene's and Draeger's. I don't think that Whole Foods has it. I will check when I go today. Guest guest
Whole Foods in Redwood City has Conte ravioli. I haven't seen it at any other WF (or a anywhere else except Amazon and GF Mall). Guest guest
Whole Foods in Redwood City carries Conte's ravioli, pizza crusts and perogies (sp?). New Leaf in Half Moon Bay carries microwavable frozen lasagna by Conte's that's delicious! They also carry a microwavable dinner of cheese ravioli with tomato sauce, but I don't like Conte's ravioli so I wasn't crazy about it. Where did you get it? Guest guest
Excellent news that WF in Redwood City carries it - that means Conte's finally closed the deal with a west coast distributor. I requested this for the WF in Cupertino about a year ago -I guess I'll ping their grocery manager again. I was there last week and didn't see it.
