Guest guest
Okay, I know he UK is 5,000 miles away, and we were just there, but I would like to know if anybody has tried Juvela Gluren-Free Fresh White and Fresh Fibre breads from Wales? The reason I ask is that we just received the latest issue of Coeliac UK's "CrossedGrain" magazine. In it was a fall-out ad for the best-looking GF breads I have ever seen. Specifically, it looks absolutely like normal, porous, yeast-raised bread. See the picture at: http://juvela.co.uk/fresh_bread.htmlUnfortunately, we never came across it in the three weeks we were there, though we had other GF breads that were better then those here as well as less expensive. I haven't seen it at any other WF (or a anywhere else except Amazon and GF Mall). We tried the Conte spinach and cheese ravioli this week, and my non-gf family agreed that these are the best ravioli we've had - just as good as non-gf ravioli. The pasta was perfect, and the filling delicious. We haven't tried their pierogis or their stuffed shells yet, but plan to soon. We also really like Mariposa's ravioli, but find the pasta a little too thick at the edges; the cheese filling is too bland for us but the sweet potato filling is great.
