Guest guest
Just had lunch at Eddie Papa's in Livermore. These guyse are very gluten-free aware. They have gluten-free bread and croutons on hand for modifying just about all of their salads and sandwiches. When I arrived and asked about GF options, the owner gave me an enthusiastic yes and then asked if I thought I might like some fries so he could go heat up the GF oil for me. I spoke with him briefly about the possibility of expanding the menu items for other things in the future like pancakes and fish & chips and he seemed open minded (so I'll keep dropping hints...) http://www.eddiepapas.com/They also informed me that there's another location in Pleasanton on Hopyard Rd., with the same GF bread availability and experienced wait staff. Highly recommended.-- Joe http://sanbeiji.com/
Guest guest
We love Eddie Papa’s! My family has been going to the Eddie Papa’s in Pleasanton for a while and Neal (head chef) is quite aware of the GF diet and is very accommodating. My son always orders a burger on GF bread, and during one visit, they had just run out of GF bread. Instead of taking the easy way out and telling us “sorry,” the manager on duty (I wish I remembered her name) actually left the restaurant to go and buy a loaf of GF bread for us from one of the local health food stores. Upon her return, she apologized for the delay and the kitchen staff quickly cooked up the burger. We were so impressed with their dedicated service. We look forward to trying their new Livermore location. Joe O’Loughlin Headmaster The Garage Band Academy (925) 216-3048 phone (925) 884-8042 fax joecgar5@...
