GF Joe's in Tumwater, WA

For those who travel up to the Puget Sound area, I just came across (online) a physical GF store in Tumwater, WA, just south of Olympia. I called GF Joe's (www.gfjoes.com, 5739 Littlerock Road SW - Suite 103, Tumwater, WA 98512 Phone: (360) 628-8010) and talked to Joe, who was diagnosed CS in 2006. He started the store in 2008 out of the frustration we all have in getting easy access to a broad variety of GF foods beyond the rice, vegs, fruits, and meats. GF Joe's now carries 1600 items, and Joe feels that the store is doing well. He is working on complementing it with an online store.It was a pleasure to talk to a grocery where someone actually understands the issues involved in CS and the need for a

gluren-free diet.My wife reminded me that there use to be a small GF store in this area, but I don't know of one now. I wonder if one could succeed. I would think so. The who Thurston County, where GF Joe's is, only has about 240,000 people.
