Guest guest
Thank you to everyone who wrote in about Pizza Party on Lawrence Expressway and Homestead. We tried it yesterday - me and my non-celiac wife. Hallie was very happy with her pizza, and I really liked mine. The left-over GF pizza re-heats the next day. It is not as crispy, but it is still very good. Although I still like our several pizza crusts better than Pizza Party's, pizza is a cumulative experience. And the cumulative experience of their GF pizza is way more than acceptable. The pizza is well prepared, generous on sauce and cheese and is just-right-spicy, aided of course, by a sprinkle of red pepper flakes. I've tried pizza in Windsor, Mountain View at Z Pizza and a couple of locations of Willow Street. I have to agree with H - Pizza party is the best followed by Willow Street. And in answer to a question - did I have negative after effects from the pizza. Answer: No, and no problem in that area with any of the places I mentioned. Guest guest
thanks Vic- I was waiting for some more positive reviews before trying pizza party - so we went there tonight and it was really good! I agree with everything you said. We ordered one cheese and one pepperoni - and it was delicious, and far less expensive than the other places. We paid less than $20 total for the 2 pizzas and 2 fountain drinks. We've also been touring the other local places - haven't tried ZPizza but agree I like pizza party best, followed by willow street, and then amici's. Mike prefers the crusts from Mariposa (we drive up there and buy them frozen by the case to make our own pizza at home) but he really liked pizza party too. I'll post again if I get any reaction (it's only been an hour and I usually get a reaction within the first 2 hours)- but so far so good... BTW their web site says you need to order GF pizzas 2 hours in advance -this is no longer the case. Just call anytime. Also, you can only get GF pizza in the small (10 " size). Now I know where we'll be having birthday parties for our daughter when she gets older (she's 3 months old so no pizza yet!) Jean
