free msg free gravy mix

Is it possible to find a gravy mix (the kind that comes in a

package and one just mixes the powder into hot water) that is both

gluten and msg free? FFF Full Flavor Foods advertises their products as " NO MSG, TRANS FAT, NUTS, EGGS,

ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR, DYE OR PRESERVATIVES, Wheat-----Barley-----Rye-----Oats "

Yet, when I look at the packages'

ingredient list I see it contains " hydrolyzed soy protein " . I thought

hsp is msg? Maxwell's Kitchen Gravy mix has almost identical ingredients.

Thanks

Hydrolyzed soy protein is not technically MSG, but it is another way of adding glutamate to foods. from the Wikipedia article: "the FDA considers labels such as "No MSG" or "No Added MSG" to be misleading if the food contains ingredients that are sources of free glutamate, such as hydrolyzed protein".
