HI everyone,

We received our GoPicnic meals from Costco and have tried out the 3 different versions. Overall, I would give them a 'B' grade.

The packaging is great...games inside of each box, a tattoo, etc...kids are always begging for them. Each of my kids would eat about 1/2 of each and love every bite but the other half tended to be tougher to eat and a bit spicy like the pepperoni and beef stick but think bigger kids (10 or so) would like it much better than my 6 and 7 year olds.

I don't plan on using for everyday but will use them for camps this summer as well as when school starts again...expensive but I think worth it when packing lunches is just too big of a pain in the neck and want to give the kids a 'treat'.

Every item is gluten free but a few of them are made in facilities that have wheat products so be careful if you are very sensitive.

I think they are available online at gopicnic.com if you don't want to buy the big kit from costco. I think they just drop ship for costco so would suggest just buying them directly if interested. In my box, I got a 20% off coupon (use code glutenfree) that I am guessing you can use as well.

Cheers!

FYI - someone sent out a post on one of the lists and thought I would share with a few more.

Costco.com (not at the stores, online only) are selling 'lunchable-like' kids GF meals. Brand is called GoPicnic and includes both the kids meals as well as adult meals.

I just ordered a set...not too expensive at under $5 each...we will see how the little Silly likes them...I will write up a review once we eat a few...

URL again is http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11472596 & whse=BC & topnav= & browse= & lang=en-US & s=1

I think you can only buy online but also noticed adult meals as well by the same manufacturer (search under gopicnic)..some of the ingredients looked good like wedding cookies...yum...

My 12 year old really likes these. I bought one of each and they're all really tasty...at least to a 12 year old boy.  the packaging is a little babyish, but I can pull it out and put it in his lunch box.

It's a pretty good deal for what you get. I'd give it a " B " as well, but an " A " for having the option of grabbing this if we're running late for school.
