The Namedroppers play traditional American music in an old-time arrangement.

Inspired by the legendary duo of Tommy Jarrell and Fred Cockeram from the Round

Peak region of North Carolina, Mike (fretless banjo) and Jerry (fiddle) draw

from obscure recordings of late night jam sessions and the occasional pilgrimage

to the music-rich Appalachian Piedmont to deepen their repertoire. The

Namedroppers rely on informal settings and constant communication with each

other to shape the music they play.

So come out and enjoy a fun day at Mariposa this Saturday, July 25 from 12-2pm!
