Guest guest
, I am on a regiment similar to yours. My last bone scan was great. I, too, am in stage 4. How long have you been at this stage? Hope you continue with your good health. You're so right. God is good! Regards, Ellie ________________________________ From: MARLENE REID <MARELENEfromNJ@...> Sent: Fri, November 27, 2009 9:15:11 PM Subject: [ ] Re:NYTimes.com: Exploring a Low-Acid Diet for Bone Health  well did i tell u guys that my gyn doc called after my last dexascan to have a long conversation regarding the fact that i no longer have osteopenia of the spine and my hips are immensely improved. she wanted to know what i was doing at age 71 to bring about this huge improvement. well my nephew a thoracic surgeon, onocologist, at mass. general had called me 3 years ago to advise 1,000 iu's of vit. d per day plus what i have in my calcium pills. i also have been in exercise classes for the past 5 years even tho i have ra, copd, thyroid problem and pbc. work as a sub classroom and lunch room last 7 years in local schools. volunteer at church, haver lots of fun outings. lucky me my lft's are normal even in stage 4.
