Guest guest
Rebekah, I don't know what you have or how they are oriented however the adrenals should be located just above (towards the head) the kidneys and are much smaller than the kidneys. I hope this helps. DMM > Hello, is there anyone who can tell me how to locate the adrenal > glands on top of a cow's kidneys? Guest guest
Well, my husband says that there aren't any glands on top of the kidneys. He says that there are glands (several) down the tube that comes out of the kidney. But he doesn't know which one is the adrenal gland. Does any one know how big it should be or what shape it is? Maybe I will try to locate a vet that sees farm animals or something. :-) Anyway, thanks for any help. Guest guest
I use both cortef 5mg 4X a day, and adrenal glandulars. I think you can start right off with 20mg cortef a day, you need to take it every 3-4 hrs for adrenals to rest. Shames is not exactly right on there. You should understand that usual testing will tell you nothing. Cortisol is Rx but can be ordered from http://www.mastersmarketing.com (hydrocortone). gracia > I was reading the book by Karilee Halo and Shames, and, read > the section on adrenals. > It sugests taking, if adrenals fatigue is a problem, taking > hydrocortisone(natural hormone) 5mg, one to four times a day, starting > w one time , morning, every other day for the first week, then, every > day, and, up to 4 times a day, it explains the process. Guest guest
Dear Harper, Please don't confuse 's disease with adrenal fatigue. Saying there is no such thing as adrenal fatigue is like negating " osteopenia " because it's not yet " osteoporosis " or " gluten sensitivity " because it's not " celiac " with complete villous atrophy. 's disease is very serious and does require medication. Adrenal fatigue is also serious but the therapy that works is not medications for the most part. I'm a practicing Certified Clinical Nutritionist and Doctor of Chiropractic for over 20 years. I have had a lot of clinical experience in this area and would be happy to " prove " the results that I get. But let's begin by making sure that we clear our terms and know what we're discussing. Many patients go to endocrinologists and are told that their adrenal glands are " fine " because they aren't " diseased " . Just because a disease state hasn't been diagnosed doesn't mean that their function is normal. That is a key distinction and it mustn't be missed. It's one of the weaknesses of our health care system. We wait until someone has a serious disease when it could have been much easier and more safely treated beforehand. Guest guest
Yes. I second this email. I was diagnosed with Osteopenia 5 years ago....and this certainly without question has impacted me and can get worse without proper treatment. Keeping this email short and short:)Thanks Dr. Vikki! Guest guest
adrenal glands Hi all, I'm wondering if there's anyone who knows about adrenal gland issues. I think I may definitely have one as I've been feeling extra anxious, extra fatigued, and my legs are so insanely weak and achey. I ordered the saliva cortisol test. Here are my results: Hi ; I had the same problems with weakness, fatigue, weak achy legs and loss of energy. I found the cause ot it was that I had cut my carbohadrate intake down to a minimum. It took about 10 days to regain my health after increasing the carbs back to a normal level. wish you the best---- .
