Guest guest
Hi , These sort of warnings are invariably a hoax and cause as much trouble as viruses, as you unfortunately found out. If anyone suspects they have been hit by a virus, they should obtain debugging info and patches only from respected anti-virus software companies, such as Norton (my personal preference) and McAfee. Guest guest
a, You are right. According to Nortons this is a hoax SO friends DO NOT DELETE the Teddybear file. It is a legitimate part of windows! Take care, Ute

Guest guest
Jill, I had the same thing happen a month ago. I don't know what e -mail provider you use but my e-mail copied itself and hid on my computer. It did this like fifty times. Go under where help is on your e-mail. Mine told me what to look for in files . It was not in normal files it was under hidden files. I would delete something and it would show back up. I finally deleted everything to do with e-mail and reinstalled. I have firewalls, virus scans, etc so I have no idea how it happened. Good luck! Hope this helps! Lynnelle [ ] virus? Robynn, keeps sending me messages I delete, and I wonder if there is a virus, and if others are having this problem. First it told me I had asked to unsubscribe, then I got some other weird message with an attachment that I deleted, and just got that again, with attachment, deleted. Do you know of this problem? Any way to protect the list? I read the stuff on the web anyway, not in my personal email.
Guest guest
Sending you messages you delete? I don't understand. Where are you deleting messages from? Could you please send me the message about the unsubscribe? Including the properties and details of the message would be really helpful too. I do have a record of you sending an unsubscribe request to the list on 6/21/2003 at 7:06 pm. Did you not send this request? Did you get an email to confirm your unsubscription? I'll have to look into this, but I'll need a few more details. Send the information to -Owner . Are you using anti-virus software? If so, which one? Is it updated? Did it tell you there was a virus in the attachment you received? I receive daily attacks of viruses sent to the 'Owner' email address of every list I own. My antivirus software quarantines the virus, I delete the message and never reply. The Owner address is really easy to get though. Your personal email address would take just a tiny bit of work. I've done all I can to protect the list from viruses. Attachments are not allowed to go to the list. Most viruses are spread through infected attachments. I have blocked the membership list from other members. Though if you post a message, any member getting email can get your email address. No one except moderators can access the entire membership list. Send me the messages you're receiving and I'll look into it. =) Robynn [ ] virus? Guest guest
You are correct, Bridget. Someone who has your email address on their computer has the virus. It’s important that you (everybody) keep your virus definitions up to date. With the deluge of new virus’ coming out almost every day, I’m updating my definitions daily. Norm -----Original Message----- From: Bridget [mailto:rumpleteasermom@...] Sent: Wednesday, August 20, 2003 5:58 AM Subject: Virus? Hi Guys, I'm getting those Mailer-Deamon messages again saying that a message I tried to send was undeliverable alng with a ton of virus rejections. I have new virus software, so I'm pretty sure this is a repeat of the last time. The last time this happened it was someone who had me in their address book and the virus was using my adress in the from field but it was originating somewhere else. So, if you have my name in your address book and you also have the insulin-dependent group (oneof the places it tried to send), please scan your system for viruses. Guest guest
There is a virus circulating on another board I go to as well... seems someone is bound, bent and determined to infect as many as possible... w/Norton's new program they update automatically and lately on a daily basis... keep current w/those updates! Guest guest
Waterspirit I am a member of the KT group, but somehow I receive all messages for the group -from everybody- in my personal computer mailbox, since a day or two. This never happened before. Something must be wrong. Is there a way to stop this. I already tried to unsubscribe but nothing changes. I gave birth to only at home with a midwife. We've noticed that her right foot was not in a normal position as of the left. The midwife had it braced with only a piece of thick cardboard and a gauze diaper. After a week it went normal already. When she was in her 6th month, I've noticed that the blade of her shoulder is uneven, the right is lower than the left. When she started walking the same thing has been observed. With the help of a friend, we see a doctor just to find out that she has a congenital scoliosis. Being a single mother, it's not very easy to face this reality specially because I am financially unstable. I brought her to a public hospital where she had her check ups every 6 months. We go there early in the morning and just bring enough food to eat while waiting for her name to be called. Sometimes it took us one whole day before we finish it because there are hundreds of patients falling in line for their check ups also. She was braced before but later on the doctor says her spine did not respond to it. She has no permanent doctor everytime we go there. And until her last check up last December 2005, the doctor told us to just go back again in May. Another doctor said that I have to prepare for the surgery but that was almost two years ago. The just keep on looking at the x-ray results every 6 months but no other recommendation what other treatment should be done to her. She already turned 7 last September but only looks like a 4 year old one. She's not increasing her height for 3 years now and I have fear that she might not become taller at all. What hurts me most is when I see her crying after school telling that she was teased by some of her classmates that she is a dwarf. She keeps on asking me why she's not normal just like any other kids. I only got interested in researching about my daughter's case thru a friend who wanted to help me have it in an easier way besides I don't own a personal computer, I just rent equivalent to $1 an hour. How I wish we have lived in the U.S. or in any other country wherein we can ask some medical assistance for free.
