Thank you to -PA, Dianne and for your encouraging

remarks. I like to think I'm in control and making the decision but

in reality I know my back is making the decision for me! I'm so glad

you all have had a good outcome and I hope to be on that side of the

fence soon. Thanks again.

Making the decision is the hard part. After that you spend all your

energy getting your mind and body ready for the surgery and recovery.

You're in my thoughts!

I returned from Scotland on the 4th. It was truly a dream and a

thrill. I played the Old Course on the 30th of June and the Eden

Course on July 1st. I had a caddie for the Old Course because it was

either that or carry my bags (that would have been a bit much!), but

walked the 18 holes with no problem. I pulled a cart for 18 the

following day. What a great way to spend our 34th wedding anniversary!
