Guest guest
I learned this morning from nurse at UCSF that one of herfriends gets specially formulated pharmaceuticals. They are made in adedicated GF facility (there are similar such facilities for people with e.g.Peanut Allergy). I am going to research this as I’m having real difficult withantibiotics --- Flagyl, for example:  Walgreens purchases generic from – does not have a GF facility. I called Pfizer about the brand nameversion – that does not have added gluten but they “don’t know†if any of theplants involved in the manufacture of Flagyl or its ingredients have gluten and“cannot rule out trace amounts of glutenâ€. I have a very marked glutenreaction – a burning sensation just below my ribs and a slurred speech (and Imay or may not have diarrhea). So, I’m on the quest to find one of these gluten freeformulating labs – I’ll share if I find one. If anyone already uses one, please do share. Thanks, Bronwyn
