Hi Lance

Not just you at all. I think most of us have problems with weather changes and

in the pressure systems that go with it. I get pain like crazy, especially when

we are getting the severe winds we have been getting the last month or so.

Last year at this time, I was only a couple of months out from my

revisions and was still on fairly high pain meds. I also always have

some problems with the change of seasons affecting my MS symptoms.

However, this month has been much different. This week is finally the

first " real " week of fall weather we've had here - cold and now a bit

rainy. I am feeling a lot of aching in my legs and also where I

imagine the pelvic bolts are located.

Growing up, I'd always heard of people who have had broken bones or

arthritis complain about " feeling " the rain, or hating the cold

weather, but I never felt this way after my original surgery. Has

anyone else experienced this after their revision? Especially their

pelvic bolts? I have to sit pretty much 100% of my waking time in a

wheelchair, and it REALLY has ached this week.

My wife is a barometer and i just don't get it, but she is very sensitive to the

pressure.

When it is rainy and cloudy she has much lower energy. She doesnt have any

thyroid problems though.

I wonder if the pressure in the atmosphere affects the blood pressure and so

this in turn affects how we feel ?

Look into SAD or seasonal affective disorder. Irritation, depression, lethargy can all be symptoms of this disease, which is created by a lack of sun or light. A luminotherapy light works wonders. I suffer from this most in the winter -- those long gray days when we're stuck inside -- but it can happen also when there is a week of rain and gray days at other times of the year. Starting in the fall, if there are three gray days, I have my breakfast in front of the lamp for a half hour every day. The symptoms of SAD stay awy. Fibrojay

We think it is and if she misses her salt then she becomes very pale with dark

circles.

She has done a 24h profile and it shows low cortisol in the morning and it

basically stays very flat for the day.

How can she up her cortisol production at night. She sleeps like a log and goes

off like a clock within 10 mins of lights out. We get off no later than 11pm

and so she gets good sleep. she is under no stress, it is just her natural

production is not that high.

She takes vit C 1000 per day and 1 NAE.

Should she try more NAE tablets and more vit c. She takes about 1 teaspoon of

salt a day and this really helped her when she started.

If she is taking Nutri Adrenal Extra, then take the last dose

late afternoon instead of stopping at 1.00p.m as recommended, because they

state that taking it after 1.00p.m. can cause problems with sleeping. That

might work . I would also be tempted to increase the dose, take one with

breakfast and one with food late afternoon.
