Have you tried Lundberg's Rice Couscous?

When we were in Santa Cruz and stopped by Staff of Life, they were having a

promotion on a new Lundberg product - organic brown rice couscous. We picked up

a plain and a savory herb to try. You get more product per package in the plain,

but the savory herb is really tasty. You can spice up the plain, use it in your

favorite couscous recipe or make it into taboleh. However, it did not appear

that the Lundberg rice couscous was carried by any of the stores that normally

carry Lundberg - Nob Hill/Raleys, Piazza, Whole Foods.

Beehive Nutrition in South San offered to special order as little as one

package, but since we knew how good the rice couscous is, we ordered a number of

packages of plain and herb. We haven't tried the other flavors, so we can't

comment on those. Beehive doesn't carry this on their shelves.

The rice couscous is baked and chopped rice, or maybe chopped and baked rice. It

cooks up with a bit of tooth, not dissimilar from what I remember couscous to

be.

If you have the chance to pick up this product, you might want to give it a try.
