Guest guest Posted December 29, 2008 Report Share Posted December 29, 2008 Hi Group, I wanted to let everyone know about D.'s progress. I received an e mail from her husband Bill. He stated, " is walking better, stronger and faster than she was at any time in the last 10 months or so. " She is walking 1/2 mile/day (four 1/4 mile walks). They were planning on flying home yesterday if the weather cooperated. He also said her pain has been under control and they have even been able to get out and see some things. He said they had a great Christmas. They are both happy to be on the other side of surgery. I'm sure we will hear from soon. I think those first two weeks out from surgery are really the worst...and since she seems to have gotten past most of that....Hurrahs all around are in order!
