Guest guest
Of course, Osmoprep induces diarrhea – it’s a colon prep. I hadthe colonoscopy on Monday. I’m not paying much attention to it. I’m payingattention to the burning in my upper gut (not lower gut), handshaking, slurredspeech and other symptoms that are usually very celiac specific for me. Theosmoprep side effects don’t usually go on for four days after you’ve taken it –unless they are the severe renal effects. Guest guest
If you really think you are having a severe renal effect you ought to be seen by a physician right away. I was just trying to reassure you that your symptoms weren't caused by gluten in the medicine. Can't speak to other sources of gluten you might have eaten, of course. Slurred speech can also be a sign of stroke or a symptom of many other things... -----Original Message----- From: Bronwyn Syiek <bronwyn@...> Sent: Thu, Oct 8, 2009 11:48 am Subject: RE: [ ] Osmoprep-one more thing Of course, Osmoprep induces diarrhea – it’s a colon prep. Guest guest
Thx appreciate it. I am spking to my dr. I still think its likely cross contqamination of osmoprep - am sikply trying to find out if others have had reactioms to osmoprep. My symptoms are directly tied to ingestion of the prep.
