I eat gf oats all the time with no problem, though I know some people can't tolerate any oats. I also think it's great that they apparently only accept gf items made in a gf dedicated facility (according to another email). That much safer for all of us. I hope they have the new gf treats at the starbucks near me! At the Starbucks near me they have them in baskets towards the cashier and the pastry display case. I asked one of baristas and they pointed right to them. Definitely am envious of anyone who can eat the GF Oats. Was this something that you could tolerate right away or did you build up a tolerance to them? Guest guest Posted January 15, 2010 Report Share Posted January 15, 2010 Hi Crystal, I started eating gf oats right after my diagnosis of celiac, have never had a reaction to them, and have since seen my test results show a marked improvement, so I figure eating the gf oats isn't harming me in unseen/unfelt ways. I count myself lucky, since everything I'd read suggested even gf oats could be a problem for some. Same with dairy - I never had to stop eating or drinking dairy products either, as many do after being diagnosed with celiac. Not that oats and dairy are related. . .
