Guest guest
Aloha! I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis and I have been on thyroid medication for more than a few decades. I started out on the old Armour (which wasn't much good), then switched to Synthroid, and finally to Levothroid. I'm having good success as long as I take Tyrosine. Tyrosine is an amino acid that the body uses to make T3. I take 500 mg. of Tyrosine 3 times a day (always on an empty stomach) for a total of 1500 mg. a day. If I don't take it then I get constipated, fatigued, and several other low thyroid symptoms. Has anyone else had good success with Tyrosine?
