Guest guest
Hi, We are going to Los Barilles, a small town outside of San Del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, Mx. Wondering if anyone has been to this area recently and has suggestions for restaurants, grocery stores, food brands, etc. Thanks! -
Guest guest
, We go for two weeks every year at Christmas. We have 3 celiacs in our group and usually we are fine. We actually saw some gluten free mixes at the Walmart and at some of the local grocery stores. We stay in Cabo and most places are more than happy to accommodate. I would just suggest figuring out how to say that you are allergic to gluten and being able to say flour in Spanish. (I'm not allergic - my father in law, sister in law, and brother in law all are - and they all speak spanish). Check on corn tortillas, some places put a little bit of wheat flour in them. Enjoy!! The food is fabulous! -Sheena > > Hi, > We are going to Los Barilles, a small town outside of San Del Cabo and > Cabo San Lucas, Mx. Guest guest
" Wheat " is trigo in spanish; " harina " is flour. So, " harina de trigo " is the ingredient to avoid. P.S. I go to Cabo yearly too and have never had an issue, but speaking Spanish helps. --lp ________________________________________ From: [ ] On Behalf Of smhovey [smmawson@...] Sent: Tuesday, April 27, 2010 4:25 PM Subject: [ ] Re: Cabo, Mx Trip , We go for two weeks every year at Christmas.
