Guest guest
Hey, I found betty crocker brownie mix at safeway in San Francisco, out by the beach. I made it last night---it's good! I forgot to put the walnuts in, could have been even better. I think even non celiacs would like it. Lori
Guest guest
we love the brownie mix and I think I've finally perfected it for my husband who is a total chocoholic. I use an 8x8 glass pyrex and cook it at 325 degrees - 350 was too hot and the edges would burn before the center cooked enough. Also, I add 1 cup of chocolate chips as well to make it extra fudgy! I've made GF brownies from scratch many times trying various things but have now conceded that Betty Crocker does a better job so I'll be using the mix (when I can find it on sale - and it looks like Safeway has finally dropped their price to less than $4 so it's in line with Target's lower prices). Guest guest
Right now Safeway has the brownie and chocolate chip cookie mixes for $3.69. Good time to stock up. We love the cookies!
