I can't attend the Stanford conference. If there's an appropriate occasion, I'd really like for someone to ask about the efficacy of Apriso, L-glutamine, betaine hydrochloride, Gluten-Flam, etc., any other medications/supplements that may be taken for CD.

Incidentally, my various GIs have simply said "no gluten" and that's it in terms of treatment for CD. They did advise a daily multi-vitamin.

Hi April,

Dr.Vicki is in Sunnyvale. I too had digestive problems even after stopping gluten. Alot of times people who are gluten intolerant also have an allergy to dairy products or casein. I do. I can't eat gluten, dairy ,eggs or anything with yeast.

I take glutamine, vitamin D3 and omega three's. I also take digestive enzymes and betaine hydrochloride. L-glutamine helps your intestines rebuild and also helps with leaky gut.

I haven't found any good bars either.

Hope this helps,

June
