Guest guest Posted March 13, 2010 Report Share Posted March 13, 2010 I had emailed Aqui's regarding removing the chicken taquitos and chicken flautas from their g-f menu because of the cross-contact issues with the fryer. I don't think I have ever heard of a " light intolerance to gluten " before - either with gluten intolerance or celiac disease. Anyway, here is their reply: " Yes, we are actually amending the card to note that the items are prepared in a shared environment. We are choosing to leave the choices on the card as many people have expressed only a light intolerance to gluten and we wish to allow the customer to make the choice.
