Guest guest
This is a pet peeve with me...don't get me started. My son was glutened by a generic drug. Even if they say they are gluten free when you call them, they also say that they can't guarantee that previous batches or future batches are safe...that is, if they will even say WHAT is in the drugs. They get their fillers from the lowest bidder and they don't care if they have gluten or not - just that they're cheap.I am trying to find out if Azithromycin Tablets (250 mg) by Sandoz contain gluten. I found pregelatinized starch in the ingredients. I found other brands of Azithromycin on several GF drug lists, but Sandoz was conspicuously absent. Sounds like Sandoz is not a gluten-free friendly company. Comments about them say they don’t use any wheat ingredients but won’t confirm any of their products are GF. I don’t know if this means there is some possibility of CC or what. I will call Sandoz in the morning (they are closed now), but I am holding off giving Merrick the pills until I am sure they are GF, and I would like to start him on them tonight, so if anyone has information I would appreciate it.
