Thank

you for the opportunity to respond to your inquiry regarding Post Fruity

Pebbles Cereal.

There are no wheat, oats, barley or rye formulated in Post Fruity Pebbles

Cereal. This product is produced on a dedicated line. However, they are

produced in a facility that contains wheat so there is a slight chance of

contamination.

Post Foods, LLC does not warranty any of our cereal products to be gluten free.

While we are very focused on food safety and have established comprehensive

HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) systems, supported by

formal Allergen Prevention programs, it is possible that trace amounts of

gluten may be present in transportation vehicles and storage devices. We hope

you find this information helpful.

Thank you for your inquiry.

I also asked Post so I could have their response to post on our local support

group web site. I received the exact same response. However, they did not

respond to the second part of my question. I simply asked if they were going to

start carrying gluten free products like that wonderful company General Mills.

Yes, I put it like that. Was it snotty of me? Maybe. But they can't possibly

ignore the success General Mills is having and if the gluten free community

shows interest in their products, they are more like to start carrying gluten

free products. Some of the big brand name products may not be the healthiest,

but on my tight budget I greatly appreciate how much cheaper they are.

Unfortunately we don't always have the money to buy healthier products. And

things like eggs and oatmeal take too much time in the morning when I have to be

to one job early and don't get home from another until late.
